Today is Friday for me and I am sooooo happy about this. At 5:00 when I get off work it will be vacation time for me. I will be leaving Athens tomorrow morning around 10:00 a.m. and I am going to try my best to get packed today so that I can be ready to have my breakfast and head out the door. I am thinking that a smoothie would be good for in the morning and then I plan on bringing a small banana and pb2 bagel for the plane right. This is going to be so easy. My plan ride will be about a hour and half. So that is just enough time to chat up the person next to me and then eat my sandwich, have a drink and meet up with my best friend before it gets to be too late. I would rather fly any day than 8 hours in the car. No thanks. Today is a little off...My roommate had a friend come into town and she got drunk and ate all my food. You guys know that every Sunday I cook my food for the week and last night I was all of a sudden out. I thought to myself "Jeeze, I ate a LOT this week." Then the truth came out...She ate it late at night. Grrrrr. NO happy. So this leaves me with no lunch and no dinner for today. I have no idea what I will eat! I would like a salad of some sort but I am out of money and really don't want to spend any before going on this trip. We will see what I can pull together. I do have my breakfast and snacks planned though. So here we go...
I munched on these this morning with my coffee! This is a weird breakfast but it filled me up and made my coffee this morning taste nutty and gooooood. I woke up early enough to stop by the CO Op to get something for this afternoon but they were bare and out of almost everything. I am going to go to Earthfare I guess and get me a little something for lunch. Maybe a apple or something to go with my PB2. I am also having this later in the morning as my "real" breakie. My oats never fail me. I am thinking that this is going to keep me full until I get in the intervals during my lunch break. I am going at 12:00 today and going to tackle 4.5 miles. This is the plan anyway. I am so thankful that the sun is out this morning and it feels wonderful. I am so pleased! I think that the weather in Flordia will be perfect. I should be able to get in one last good tanning for Fall starts. I cant believe that it is already here. WOW.
This afternoon I will come back and take a photo of what goes into my belly. Get ready...I have a feeling it is going to be good!
I went to Eathfare and got a salmon salad. I needed to save my money but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. This is a gorgeous spread for lunch. I still dont know what dinner will be but something tells me that it may just involve egg whites and some fancy cheese that Karen left me. I will be making due with what I have in the fridge for dinner. Today I feel like I got in my good carbs, healthy fats and protein. If I can keep this up tonight I think that I will have a really really good day of eats! Whenever I eat nuts it always fills me up and makes me feel really good. That and two cups of coffee helps. I am going to have to cut back on coffee when I get back from my trip for sure. My consumption is creeping up there! Ouch! I am going to work the rest of the day, go to a Zumba class and then head home to shower, do laundry and pack. This evening will go by SUPER fast. I am thinking that I will need to get into bed fairly early as I will have to drive in rush hour tomorrow and I don't want to be in a bad mood when I get to the airport. Just knowing that I will be eating a peanut butter and banana sandwich on the plane will make me happy. I hope that some oysters will be eaten while on my trip. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and I will be seeing you all when I get back on Tuesday. I will have a Pom Wonderful review by then so be ready!
