Hello everyone. This morning has been a hectic one so far but now that I have my coffee in hand I am A-okay! I am dog sitting for the next two weeks so that means that I wake up, drive over to the house, let them out and go back home to get ready to go BACK to the house and let them back in. Whew! I am not sure if this is going to work out but I will see the next few days. It may be easier for me to get dressed and then just bring my make-up with me and finish getting ready there, not quite sure yet. Anyway, regardless it is a beautiful day here in my neighborhood and I cant wait until tomorrow. Why you ask??? IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! Tomorrow that is...
I went to the store last night and bought myself some goodies. On my birthday I like to eat all of my favorite things and I intend to do that. I couldn't wait however and ate some of my favorite things already. I am telling you....I have no control. And especially when it comes to these. 
So yeah, I ate some of these this morning and 
paired it with these gems! Brown Turkish figs. I usually get to eat figs during the summer and this year I didn't get a chance to eat one. Not one. Well that changed this morning. I bought a pack of them (for 5.00, ouch!) last night at earth fare and just had to have a few this morning. I have a KILLER stuffed fig recipe that is to die for. Simple (of course) but divine. I stuff them with goat cheese and top them with apricot preserves. Oh my gawd are they good. So I am ready for my special breakfast tomorrow. Figs, banana oat bran, cashews and PB2. What could a girl ask for? I am going to be in heaven! I am also going to be treating myself on my fun Friday (I took off from work to be lazy and let it be all about me!). I am going to show you a quick glemse of my second , yes I said it, second breakfast. 
DROOL! Hey you know what? I just realized that I basically am having my birthday breakfast today as well. Why not? This was just what I needed. Yes, a HUGE mug of coffee goes along with this baby but I am just not awake until I have my oats.
