It is Monday and I cant tell you a better way to end the day better than with yoga. I am looking forward to my practice today so much. I would like to do a review this morning!!! I have already raved about this product before but after using this product a ton I feel it is necessary for me to review it once again. I got something new as well!
YOGA PAWS!
So, we all know that I don't have my own yoga studio (not yet anyway). I usually go to a yoga class three times a week. I prefer to practice 5 days a week. So where does that leave me? At home with my laptop on yogatoday.com and just enough space in front of my bed to stretch out and do some yoga. When I first moved into my new place my whole thoughts on my new room was two things...I want a space for working out and I was a space for meditation. I did just that. I placed my bed in the corner so that I could put a rug down big enough for my body to lay on and placed the t.v. in front of that so that I could do some yoga/Pilate's videos if need be. My first time in my new room and new set up I turned on the t.v. popped in the video and decided that yoga it was for the evening. I remember sliding all over the place! I knew right then that my set up was not going to work. I thought to myself..."How can I get through a yoga practice in my room without a mat and without sliding around?" I then got on-line and started to look. I found:
I was so excited to see this site. It looked as though it was going to be my savior! I contacted them and asked for a sample so that I could review it. Jaime was so nice and sent me one right away! I got them in the mail shortly after we spoke and I was so excited to try them out....Well I did and guess what? No sliding! I was amazed! I could do yoga and without a mat. In fact...I could now do yoga anywhere. I posted a rave review and went on with blogging. Since then, I have used these paws almost everyday. Every single time I feel like I want to stretch or do a quick yoga practice I put these babies on! I have even taken them with me when I went on vacation and was able to get in a yoga practice in my hotel room!!! These paws have saved my life! PLEASE, if you love doing yoga and you would love to be able to do it anytime and anywhere, go to the site. I swear these will change the way that you look at exercise. I know that it did for me.

Eye pillows! Their eye pillows are made with flaxseed and lavender. Making them relaxing and delicious. Just what you eye's ordered!
I must admit...went Jaime said "I will send you a eye pillow as well." I thought "GREAT, but what in the world are these things?" Well last night I was so tired and I needed to get into bed early. I did just that! I got in bed and just as I got comfortable I remembered that I had the new eye pillow. I got up and grabbed it. Put it on my eyes and then I was out like a light. I love that these eye pillows are scented! Lavender filled my nose and I fell into a deep sleep. So deep that when I woke up this morning I still had them on! Wow! I thought...I am sold! Thanks Jaime for being the best. PLEASE you have to try out the eye pillows and the yoga paws they are great!!!!

This weeks meals are going to be oh so good! I am getting better and better at planning these things!
Breakfast was "light" and I loved it. Cottage cheese (fat free of course) and a slew of fruit! Yes, I went back for more...I had too! I also added some walnuts and salba to make it extra filling. So good!
After a few hours I went back for more.....You know what...NUTS! You and I both know that nuts are my weakness and yet I still go back for more. I just cant handle one portion. I am going to try my hardest to do my best! I love the texture of walnuts more than any other nut. I think that is what gets me...The texture of the nuts.
I am walking today and plan to get in about 3.5 miles at around 55 minutes today. I also going to yoga tonight. I am not going to over do it as far as cardio goes tonight I need to save some energy for the rest of the week. I am so happy that I am getting better every day now! After walking my butt off, literally. I will come in for this cool lunch!
This weeks food will look just like this for the rest of the week. I will not be posting my food really unless I go with something different. I am going to try my best to stick with this! Chicken if you haven't noticed is my protein this week. I am doing great. Two weeks ago it was salmon, last week was tofu and this week is chicken. I think that I will do this routine for a while that way I never get tired of it! I baked my chicken with a awesome nutritional yeast crust and a ton of spices. I am going to be having chicken salads that are going to be great!
After lunch a veggie plate arrived at work and I got some and dipped it in horseradish mustard. Here is the plate. I grabbed some green peppers and cucumbers. I left the rest alone.
After work I am going to go home, relax and get ready for my yoga practice. Before going though I will be eating this! Yes, basically the same thing that I would have eaten a few hours before but when it is good, it is good! I will be adding some avocado and a Thai peanut dressing to this combo. A few strawberries are sure to make a after dinner appearance. That will be that as far as my plate goes! I am going to maybe have a drink tonight but I may not. I will have to wait and see.
