Have you ever seen this flower before? Well I have yet to until yesterday around 3:30. I got the most gorgeous flowers and these were in the arrangement. Birds of paradise is the name of the beautiful flower. Hawaii is where they come from. Amazing, just amazing.
So yes, if you couldn't tell...I am in a great mood this morning. Having something like this sitting on my desk is just making every moment here at my desk enjoyable. Seriously. This morning and this week is flying by. I am going to start volunteering this weekend at the Co Op and I am just so excited about it. I will be getting a great discount (20%) and be able to be busy and meet new people. I think that it will be just the balance that I need with working here at the bank. I start Saturday morning and cant wait! Breakfast was huge and filling! I did go a little crazy with the raw almonds, maybe because I was in such a good mood. This really was perfect! I am so glad that I switched it up this week. It is going to make my oats this weekend that much better! I will be walking today with my favorite co worker and we will be sure to burn about 400 cals and get in a 3.5 mile walk. She kills me! I am up for it today though with taking yesterday slower than usual. I am going to have a high protein snack just before I head out to see if this helps my energy level. These are a great snack and I am so sad to see them leave my kitchen. Today is the last Kay's Naturals Chips. I LOVE The cereal too. This will fuel my walk and get me going.
After I get back from my sweaty walk in the GA heat and sun I will be having these beauties! So I polished off the Organic Whole Grain Rudis Bakery English Muffins and now moving on to the bagels. I am having a small bagel sandwich. What I love about these begals are that they first are only 130 cals for the whole thing and second that they are whole grain with absolutely nothing bad in them. The carbs are about as bad as my oats in the morning and since I am not having a huge carby breakfast this is just fine after a long walk. I am also having a side of refreshing cucumber salad. I love my lunches this week and really the best part of my day this week. I am contemplating going to a dance class today. Let me say this again. MAYBE going to Zumba today. I am not sure if it is a good idea to walk that much and then go to a high intensity zumba class and then even try to lift any weights. We will just see though how I feel after this walk and after work today. I wouldn't be surprised if I didnt go. I do know one thing though...There is two last things that will be on my plate for tonight and that would have to be dinna....and a drink.
The last of my peanut dressing that I so adore is leaving me today too. I am going to go real simple and just have tofu, cucumber, zucchini and broccoli with the dressing for dinner. There will more than likely be two bowls of these....And about two hours later, when I am in my bed and tired as all get out...Two small shots of sake. My love! I am in love with sake and think that it is the perfect night cap. I think that it is smooth and makes me feel dreamy. I forget about eating a snack (usually I go for about 200 cals of watermelon or 10 strawberries and get about 14-20 carbs right before bed. I dont get any sleep because my tummy is trying to digest.) Well with the new drink idea I am calm, not hungry and sleep like a log. Good to know but of course I wouldn't push it on anyone.
Ok folks I have some much needed work to do. I am still waiting on a few products but when I get them expect a review.
