Wake n Brew!

Good mornin peeps! I am feelin so darn good this morning! I woke at 7:00 a.m. (which never happens!) and went for a 40 minute walk right when the sun was coming up and it was still cool outside! I dont know what got into me! I just opened my eyes, jumped out of bed and off I went. I started the walk with some light music brought to me by my i-pod, then the thing died on me! Oh well, I needed to hear the birds chirping! The whole time I was walking all that I could think about was the coffee that was being brewed. I have a secret!!! I have come across the best darn coffee that I have tasted in a while (dont tell 1000 faces, my love). You see. I must admit. I am a coffee lover. I dont drink a ton, however one cup is a must daily. I look forward to my cup of coffee almost more than breakfast! I love a really smooth cup of coffee with some unsweetened almond milk and truvia (thanks Mary Ann) or stevia. After my walk I opened the door and my house was filled with the aroma of coffee! Yum! I changed, washed my face and poured myself a cup of heaven. Ok so what is the coffee I am loving these days???
Jim's Organic coffee!!! I got it in the mail the other day and didnt want to tell you guys about it until I had tried both out. I am good huh? I have to say, it was super hard keeping this to myself!
This company I came across on-line by googling "organic coffee". I got a e-mail from Emily who was so sweet to send me two pounds of their coffee to try. One a dark roast and one a medium roast. I tried first the dark as I was in need of a strong cup of coffee. Sweet Love Blend is their dark house blend. This ambrosian aroma with full bodied, smokey taste.Roast: Dark. In a word: Uplifting. Terrific! I give it 4 stars!!! This morning I tried the Jo Jo’s Java he made this blend for his wife, this blend of grace, full of aroma and great taste. You’ll love its smoothness, its never bitter. So relax with a cup, leave the kids with a sitter.Roast: Medium. In a word: Perfection. Oh my GAWD this truly is perfection I tell you. I am in LOVE with this coffee I tell you! Let me tell you a bit about Jim first though. This info is straight off the site so read here or go straight to the site and read more!

In 1985, Jim Cannell happened upon the coffee industry by chance when, while seeking work in Manhattan's Wall Street district, he was gruffly told by his future boss "OK kid, here's a desk, pick up the phone." Thus an odyssey in the green (unroasted) coffee business began.
In 1992, with a knowledge of coffee and a desire to roast organic, Jim started his own roasting company. Just two years of growth and success attracted the attention of a larger company who made a merger offer which made a great deal of sense. After working for the larger company for a short time, Jim left to start James C. Cannell Coffees and Jim's Organic Coffee™ was born.
Jim's coffee experience allows you to be safe and secure in the knowledge that Jim's Organic Coffee™ comes from a proven coffee merchant, one who guarantees quality, one who supports organic for the 'right' reasons, and one who is constantly striving to deliver you the best product possible. And, with Jim's Organic Coffee™ your enjoyment goes beyond taste, and into peace of mind…

So you have already seen my cup of coffee this morning what's for breakfast? Well. Just like yesterday but all together now!

Kay's protein cereal, banana,Fitnutz pb, strawberries and unsweetened almond milk. perfect! Love all this together. I did however, save a little bit of the honey almond cereal for my Greek yogurt later on in the day (wink wink Lindsey). I am in the best mood today! My back and knee feel pretty good too! I bet it was the yoga last night! Yes! I think that if I really take good care of myself I will be recovered in a week or two! Ice at night helps too.

After buzzing around the office getting my day started I dug right into this!

Fluffy egg whites and a soy pattie (aka, protein bomb!). I always have this before heading to the gym. Today's lunch is going to be way more filling than yesterdays for sure! I am going to read my e-mails, blog a bit and read your blogs (I am obsessed with some of you by the way and you dont even know it!) I have been trying to look up some more raw recipes too! I am down this morning to 119.6 being in the teens make me soooo freaking happy! I am hoping that with the added exercise and less carbs I can get back down to my ultimate weight which is 117! 2 more pounds baby! I can do it!

My work out today (half over with now because of my a.m. walk!) is going to be chest and back today and maybe a pilates class tonight, not sure though how I will feel later today. When I get back from lifting I am going to have this combo.

This my lunch. I have traded my spinach for cucumber these days. I have been making a tuna concoction and placing it on top of my cucumber! Yum! Refreshing and just what I need after a work out. I cant eat anything hot these days (Ga, by the way is getting hot!) so this holds me over until I have my greeky mess!
here you have it...Greek vanilla yogurt and some added protein cereal (honey almond) and a few blueberries. I go ahead and have my "desert" early on in the day! This is my favorite and Lindsey, you were right girl this is awesome!

At the end of my work day I know that I will be tired so I am going to have some green tea and head on home. I am going to more than likely go to pilates at 7:00 tonight but before it will be tofu and Qunioa again! I am almost done with this meal for the week. You may be seeing more it though. I am lovin quinoa again!

This picture of my food looks as good as this tastes! It is red pepper with mushrooms and asparagus with tifu and Quinoa. I drizzled some hot sauce on top and man it was spicy goodness! I love this stuff. I may add some mango next week to make it extra special. So after I digest it will be off to pilates. I will get home around 8:00 and then crawl into bed to youtube for a while, facebook it up and eat some juicy water melon.

Usually my rule is no fruit after 4:00 because if the carbs but during the summer I just cant say no to some water melon. If you are going to eat some low calorie fruit late in the days i say that grapefruit, melon and strawberries would be your best bet! This is so relaxing to me for some reason to have a slice in bed (of course I chop it up and put in a bowl) I wouldn't want it to drip on me in bed! HA! Anyway, happy Thursday my friends! It is almost over! I cant wait. I have so much fun things planned for the weekend that I want to get started right away! See you tomorrow for my final post for the week! PLEASE DONT FORGET TO ENTER MY GIVE-A-WAY on Monday's post I will be announcing the winner tomorrow morning!!!
