With all that being said...I was sold at first site! I got a great package and I have to say. Before I even opened the box it smelled like fresh baked bread. I knew that was a goooood sign :)The first thing that I tried was the spelt wraps...YUMMY and chewy! Usually I have to stick these things in the oven or microwave to get the chewiness to come out but these babies were fun just as is! I made a great wrap with these and it was the perfect size. I loves these and have never eaten spelt before! here is a picture of the breads that they offer. I have tasted all of them but stuck a few in the freezer so that I could slowly enjoy them . This is just a picture to show you the variety that they offer. I tried out the bagels next! They have so many to choose from!
The bagels were a complete surprise to me. Smaller than the average bagel but lower cal as well. A winner to me!
Honey Sweet Wheat Bagels
Designed after our best selling sandwich bread, our Honey Sweet Wheat Bagels combines wholesome whole wheat with a touch of sweet honey. That is just what they were. Sweet (but not too sweet) whole grain goodness! I then tried out the English muffins. Here is a picture of the English muffins, this was of course before I smeared it with almond butter and topped them off with raisins. These after being toasted was like biting into a piece of heaven! Thank you so much to Rudi's Bakery for sending me some great products! I LOVED them!
So what am I having for breakfast this morning you ask?
I have said it once and I will say it again...I could eat oatmeal for every meal! This morning is blueberry oatmeal with some wheat bran and old fashion organic oats, unsweetened almond milk and you know a blob of raw cashew butter went on top ;)
This is what will fuel my 3.5 mile lunch hour walk! I am siked to go again today with a co-worker. I am going to be training a clients husband today after work so I will need to get in a workout before I go in to see him. This could take a while so I am thinking that I will eat some snacks today. After the walk I am going to basically have the same as yesterday. Baked salmon salad with some green jasmine tea! Yummy. I love this salad and I am going to be making it more often. Dont get me wrong...I like tuna but I have basically been eating it for over a year now for lunch. So it is time to move on.
After lunch, e-mails, phone calls and errands I am digging into these jewels! Raw almonds and Bing cherries. Yep the perfect combo in my opinion. I read a very interesting post about food combining and I think that this is a no no. I may try to break it up tomorrow and not eat them at the same time. After this snack I have one more hour of work and then off to the gym again. Training and then this! The same as last night but I made it into a stew! Tofu, egg plant, red cabbage and some tomato sauce. You know I pour hot sauce all over it ;p
After getting my computer fixed (hopefully). I will play around on i-tunes (I need some new music!!!) and then will sink my teeth into some juicy watermelon. I am excited that I managed to pick the brightest juiciest and sweetest melon in the store! That will be it my friends !Cool and refreshing I LOVE watermelon... See you tomorrow my pretties!
I will be reviewing some other things later this week and if you are good there will be a give-a-way!!!!
See ya!
