I got home yesterday after work to this...

I had the absolute worse day ever yesterday!!! You know the "new"car that I bought YESTERDAY? Well, last night after driving it home it broke down on me...It was smoking and anti freeze was pouring out of it. I had to get a tow and then walk home almost 3 miles. I am just a wreck. Needless to say yesterdays post "New car and scared to death" came true. I feel horrible. When I got home I was absolutely starving and because of this package I was able to eat. I am not kidding....This is not suppose to be a SOB story and in fact I really wanted this post to be the happiest one yet but it is bitter sweet for me and because I have been writing to you all for so long I just cant hide it. When I bought the car I literally spent every penny that I had in the bank to get me a used vehicle so that I could get to and from work and the grocery store. I am broke now and have nothing to show for it. I got a call this morning from the mechanic and it is going to cost me 1200.00 dollars to get it fixed and I just don't know where this money is going to come from. I am in a hole....deep. Anyway, when I got home I opened the package and the tears just started coming...I was so happy to get this package in the mail. It looks like I will be living off pretzels, cookies, chocolate, and soy crisps. Ha! I don't care at least it is there and it is food. I live very far from a grocery store so I will have to just make due. Anyway, I wanted to I got some dried fruits! I LOVE prunes and tried them out first. So plump and juicy. The apple, cranberries and raisins will be the perfect pair for my oatmeal in the morning. I couldn't have asked for a better selection.

more pics of the lovely goods! These soy crisps are amazing! I love how light they are and the crunch was just what I needed. 
Pretzels are a girls best friend! I LOVED getting these. The spelt ones were amazing too. I dipped them into peanut butter and wow they became a perfect snack. I will be taking these babies as a side for lunch! 
I then went for the fig newtons. I haven't had one of these in ages. I will say this...I couldn't stop...SO FREAKING GOOD!!! I was in awe at how good these were. I am hooked for sure. Actually I have been thinking about these all day today. Lastly I went in for the best in my opinion of all the treats! 
Chocolate!!! Now after a horrible day, this was just what I needed. I went for the dark chocolate espresso bean! WOW! It was by far the best chocolate bar I have ever had. 
Last but not least...I got some wonderful mints !I had no idea that they even made mints! I LOVE The tins that these came in too. I am going to figure out a way to re use these for sure. I tried out the ginger (because I Love ginger) and they were so yummy. 10 cals and I can have 3 a serving. I wanted to enclose some info from their site just telling y0u what a wonderful company this truly is.

So this is food you can feel good about eating. I will say this, I have never been so happy to get a package and it just goes to show that sometimes you effect some one's life without even knowing it. I will be living off this box until it is gone. I cant tell you how much I needed this and how much it meant to me that Newman's Own Organics was so nice to send me so much. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. You have no idea...You guys don't even get a number from me (usually I rate from 1-10) I just cant even put a number on it.
