High Rollin

So yeah....I have two cars at the moment. I am thinking that this other car needs to be sold as soon as possible. I will be putting out my "good" car karma out there so that someone will buy the Volvo that I have been driving and taking good care of for the last 5 years. I got the "new car" back yesterday. Limping from the dent that it put in my wallet I didnt drive it at all when I got home. I was scared...I will be putting it to the test today but I am still afraid that the car is going to break down. I need to go ahead and change my thought patterns. When I got home I was surprised to see a little package...It had some wonderful goodies in it from.

What penny has to say:

We know how important it is for food to taste great so that was the first criteria when we developed our formulas. There were many who tasted and tested for us and their feedback was taken seriously. We concentrated on flavor, texture, low calories, fat and high fiber. And of course, we made the serving as big as possible! Additionally, we don't use preservatives or artificial sweeteners, and our products don't have trans fats or cholesterol. All of Penny's Low Fat Desserts are rich in whole grains and they are egg-free. Two of our cookies are also dairy free!
Since being accurate with nutritional labeling is important, we worked with a food scientist for product development then validated our nutritional analysis with an independent lab. We also work with a bakery that understands our philosophy about product quality and customer service. Please tell your friends and always feel free to let us know what you would like in other desserts offerings.

Background: An interest in nutrition goes back to college days and a degree in Consumer Services and Nutrition from Rutgers University. Later, I became a lifetime member and was a leader in one of the major healthy weight loss programs. I am always searching for safe, delicious foods and feel proud to share our low fat, high fiber desserts with others

I am not going to lie to you all...I ate three different ones last night! I was hungry, stressed and delighted. I don't regret it. I had the Oatmeal raisin (my favorite), Almond poppy seed and the carrot raisin (second fave). These were sooooo good. Now I have eaten and enjoyed vita muffins but these were better in my opinion. For one there is no artificial sweetener (the devil in my opinion) and they were WAY more hearty. These were very dense and I have to say, gloried cake! YUM! In a goooood way. Thanks so very much for sending me the muffin tops, they ROCK! I will be telling you about the others that I eat too. I am thinking about sending my sis a care package and one of these will be in it! These are low cal, low in fat and high in fiber. Could you ask for more? When I opened the Carrot one I popped it in the microwave for 15 seconds and OH MY GAWD!!! It was like having a fresh bakes piece of heaven. Try them out! The site to go to is:

You wont be sorry you did! Thanks Penny!

So, this morning is my last morning with the oats! I am out...That is okay because tomorrow will be a English muffin from Rudis Bakery and some much needed raisin ABU! Ok I am getting ahead of my self now!

Here is the lovely oats I had to wake myself up this morning. These oats were just what I needed. They had cranberries, almond milk, oats and stevia. Simple but perfect. I love oats, even in the summer. I am happy that I decided to go back!

Lunch will be light because I am going to be having a early dinner with Maryanne at 5:30 today. It is the last piece of the baked salmon and some roasted golden beets on a bed of field greens. This is funny because I am going to be showing Maryanne how I eat at a restaurant. I never thought I would be showing someone how to be the pickiest eater ever! Growing up I was NEVER a picky eater...Put something in front of me and I would eat it. Now I practically examine everything before I eat it. If I go to a pot luck I always eat before going and usually only have some of what I bring (which is usually something that I want and will eat.) This weekend I have two pot lucks and you better believe that I will be making something yummy but healthy and no one will complain. There is one thing that you have to master pretty much...That is the art of cooking. Making super simple (plain Jane) things but that taste great. That is not easy to do. That is when spices and herbs come into play. Anyway, I will get to that later. For my lunch hour I have yet to decide what I will do...More than likely just go to the gym to work out my upper body. I am going to give my knee a rest today. I will snack on some raw almonds if I get hungry and then will be off to have dinner....One of my favorite dinners of all.

Pulled chicken salad from one of my favorite restaurants! Doc Cheys. I get the Thai Peanut Salad but say "no noodles, no won tons, no peanuts, dressing on the side and extra cilantro please!" I love this place because they do just that. They always are nice about it too! This is my awesome salad that I can eat guilt free! I will put some seaweed on top as well. Yum! It will fill me up big time too.

For desert I will be going home to have some frozen watermelon. I have almost eaten an entire watermelon this week!!!The most natural Popsicle that I can think of! This is the BEST thing in the world on a hat day. I just put into the freezer until those gorgeous crystals form. I am in love with frozen fruit. Grapes, strawberries and watermelon freeze so well and are the best frozen and eaten in my opinion. Well folks yet again...another day of eats and we are that much closer to the weekend. I will try my best to take some photos of the pot lucks! I love a good pot luck don't you. I have a question for you..

What is your favorite pot luck dish to bring?

update***The Colonix is working a bit. Not as much as I was hoping that it would be by now but it is working. I was suppose to hear from the lady at colonix two days a go but have yet to. I have questions!!! I am going to stick it out. I will continue to drink the intestine cleanser and the tea every other night. I did however go to 4 pills today to see if it makes any difference at all and I am already (2:15 p.m.) on my 3rd liter of water. If I start something...I finish it. I want to go through the full three months still. Maybe I am just that clogged with crap...no pun intended.
