Rise and Shine my friends~!
I don't know about you but this week has been a BUSY and hard one. Between emptying my wallet and running around like a chicken with my head cut off at the office. I am ready for the weekend and I am so ready for a drink. The girls at the office want to go for a margarita (I have only allowed myself two this whole summer). Last summer I drank them by the pitcher full. I haven't decided if I am going or not. If I am going to have something that special I may want to wait for a truly special occasion. We will see how tomorrow goes though. This morning I had a English muffin with ABU and strawberry jam. Egg whites on the side. To die for! This gave me my protein and fiber that I needed. Today's breakfast is different but the rest will be the same. I have no idea though what my Friday dinner will consist of. After breakie and e-mails, errands and phone calls it will be time for my work out! I was so good yesterday and took a complete day of rest. I always have a hard time getting in a complete day of rest. So today I plan to get in a walk and maybe even some weights later. We will see.
Last night I didn't sleep very well. I don't know hwy but lately I haven't been able to get in a full 6 hours without waking up several times. Maybe having Karen home tonight will help. I do hate to be alone and well just knowing that she might be stubbing in at some point does help me. Maybe the two of us will go out tonight together. Who knows. She is a busy bee! So for lunch I am going back to tuna in a can... I don't really want it but I under estimated the salmon and ate it all yesterday. So today's eats besides breakfast will be pretty much routine. I am looking forward to the tuna though. I added a hard boiled egg to it (as if the whole can of tuna wasn't enough). I am going to do my best to eat this slowly so that it lasts. The other thing that I under estimated on as well was snacks! I only have about 10 raw almonds to eat later in the day and I know that once I get home my stomach will be screaming at me. Tonight I will have the last bit of my veggies and make a temphe wrap. Yum! Soy crisps will be for desert. This is a veggie wrap with some Temphe and a side of fresh mango. This is great dinner for me. I will also be eating some of these! Newmans Own Organics cinnamon soy crisps. WOW are they goooood! I love these. I am almost done with the whole bag and it is a sad sight I tell you! I will be getting more of these for sure....
So this weekend I am house sitting for a friend. I am going to be going to two count em two pot lucks and seeing some friends from San Francisco! This is going to go by super fast. Oh and I am not going to disclose just yet but I may have a second job that sounds too good to be true. I will be seeing about it later today though.
