This morning I am so excited to start it off right and with what else other than a rave review! Lets get started. First I would like to say that I got a great nights sleep. I did go to the video store and got a video to watch in bed and for the second night in a row it didn't play in my dvd player. I didn't have the energy to go back to the store and change it out so I am going to try another video store today and just get it over with. Tonight....Well, tonight is going to be Heather night. I havent had a night alone to myself in ages and I plan to do exactly that tonight after practice. With being down 5 pounds (120.5)! I am in need of some love. Maybe my scale is wrong but I am taking it. My goal is 117 and I know that 3 pounds is not that much but damn is it hard to do. I have been at 125 since September of last year!!! Just now I am able to break it. So I am going down people. 3 pounds will be coming off of me by my trip...Mark my words.
OK, so back to my review, I wanted to say good morning first!
Yesterday on my lunch break I did go to the gym but on my way home I stopped by my house to peak and see if I had any boxes. With Beth and Karen being gone I have no one to get the packages that I am getting and put them in the fridge so I am making stops through out the day to see if I have anything. Sure enough, I did. I got this!!! I didn't expect to get such a cute package! When I opened it I was so surprised! Inside was this! A box of chicken cutlets. So of course my tofu dinner didn't happen at all. Instead I decided to tear right into these babies and try it out for myself, I had a chicken salad with tons of veggies and avocado! On the back of the package I was reading to see how I should cook this and decided to go with putting it straight into the oven, I placed the cutlet on a baking sheet, turned it up to 400 and let it go for 20 minutes. It smelled so freaking good while cooking! When it was done I chopped it up on put it on top of my salad. First of all the taste was almost too real! I even had to read the ingredients to see if there was any meat at all in the product. I am a lover of soy products but I must admit that I am in need of cutting down on the consumption of it. I needed to find a way to get my meat fix but with out eating a whole cube of tofu (I have been known to do it!). This is the PERFECT option people. If you cant cant or don't want to eat soy this is the product for you. Taste unreal and so filling too! I am so glad that there is three more inside. It is going to be "whats for dinner" tonight for sure. Thanks so much for sending me this adorable package. The people at Quorn made my night and I must say I am going to be purchasing some of their other products. I went on-line and see that there are chicken nuggets that look to die for! Yay!~ All in all I give this product a 10 (and I never do that!).
This morning didn't start off to a rough start like yesterday at all. I do admit though it was hard for me to get out of bed this morning though. My back is a little soar but not as bad as it has been. I worked out my arms a tad yesterday and they are soar for sure. It is weird but I love that feeling. I sure hope that today goes by fast. My oats were awesome this morning! Cha-cha-chia! I love you!
Banana's are back in my life. This morning was oats, chia, banana, flax and some walnuts. Look at that coffee too! Yum! Oats, what would I do without you???
After my breakfast and coffee, I feel way more energized. This is the only way I ever want to start my day. When it really gets hot I am going to try out the raw oatmeal that I have been seeing on the site. That does sound super good. So yes, it is the count down to vacation! I cant wait and guess what will be in my book bag? Oats! Yeah, last time the hostel had bagels and PB and jam and that was it. After 10 solid days of bagels I came back 8 pounds heavier (that along with Thai food galore) and this time I refuse to do that. I am bringing some oats for breakfast and will be having that to get my day started in San Fran! The snack of the day?
Sometimes I feel like I am on a "mush" diet! I love love love Greek yogurt and if I could I would eat it every day. Oh why are you so expensive Greek yogurt? I need to start making my own and just may! This is Stoney Farms Greek Yogurt (vanilla) and some chopped almonds. Love it!
For lunch today is a tuna salad. Now, this picture looks bad but it didnt taste bad at all. I promise!
I had this tuna salad with a big ol' cup of silk light soy milk. It was just what I needed. Packed with protein!Dinner and my evening snack. Chia pudding! My love. I am so loving this stuff I just ordered another two pounds! Oh yeah. I am having a raw sprouted salad and will be having the chicken cutlet either on the side or chopped up on top. I haven't decided yet. So yep! I am going completely raw for dinner!
This HOPEFULLY will keep me satisfied for the night. You know what I want to do right now? I would love to go swimming so bad. When does the pools open up? I usually am at the pool every single day during the summer. I am ready to get the bathing suit on and go swim! I just may have to drive by the pool and see if it is open yet. I am wondering...What is your favorite summer activity???
I have found a white wine that I adore! I love it so much. It is a sparkling wine and it goes by the name vinho verde and gosh what a great table wine. This wine would go with anything. I think that it paired with Sex and the City tonight may just be the highlight of my week besides hanging out with my friend Jason. See you tomorrow, bright and early!
