See that mug....ummmm. Yeah, that is a big one.
This oatmeal had blueberries, raspberries and some oat bran in it, with of course some chobani greek yogurt on top! How could I resist!
I am going home to spend some time with my sister (she is going to do my hair) and see my mom and grandmother for mothers day so I will not be blogging from Saturday and Sunday but will be back to the grind Monday morning and will be filling you in on all the goodness that is going on in my life. I have a friend who is turning 35 and will be taking him out Sunday night so that is going to be fun! I am going to have a awesome weekend, I can feel it. I plan on going straight to the gym with my sister Friday evening and working her butt out! I cant wait because it will be my first day back in the gym in four days. That is the longest that I have not been in the gym in months! Anyway, I am thinking that this is going to be yet another good time to bond with my sis. It is kinda easy because we are twins (did I tell you that?) so we are the same age and like most of the same things (except she hates greek yogurt....who is she???). Speaking of.... That is going to be my snack for the day!!! Blueberry today and so far this one is the best! I am a LOVER of blueberries so I kinda knew I was going to love this one!
I am telling you I cant get enough....I am going to have to watch out!
I am telling you I cant get enough....I am going to have to watch out!
I am also going to have a soy patty on the side.
So after my awesome protein filled snack I decided that I would just head right on over to the store to pick up some more goji berries to have for my oats tomorrow.
I have been awaiting a package from Synergy. They are sending me a package of their Kombucha and I cant tell you how excited I am to try this stuff. I have read so many things and this company looks like they are the cream of the crop. Super nice folks and responded so quickly to me. Anyway, there may be a review today at some point because I am going to tear right in to one of them if I get it today! On another note....Today is going to be better calorie wise. With the extra breakfast and totally delish chobani greek yogurt. I went over. I am going to only eat what I am tracking today. Some how I am up 3 pounds in three days??? I dont get it. More than likely water. Anyway, I am thinking that with this amount I should be good to go! I can tell you one thing though...I am so out of it today. I took my pain killer last night because I was in for the night and after a hour was still hurting so I took another one. Well, I will not be doing that again. I passed out and woke up 9 hours later in the same position. I go a great nights sleep but still feel groggy. I am starting the steroids today which I hope helps me. I am going to take the rest of the week off (except for walking) and hopefully (and I am mean I am praying) will be back in the gym Monday. I am going to add swimming and then slowly add in everything else. I want to do yoga so bad!!! I am thinking that heavy lifting may be out of the question for a while. Who knows. I doubt that I will stay away forever but this injury thing is for the birds. So what is for lunch you ask???
A low carb wrap again! These never get boring to me and always make me feel like I am eating something totally bad (high carb) when in fact they are super good for me!
This thing is loaded with veggies and I am also having a bocca burger (vegan) on the side. I am thinking that with the hummus and veggies this wrap will be good enough on it's own. I do however need the added protein so it will be on the side.

I need to go by some BCAA's today at some point. I really feel like they work. After lunch I am going to another doctors appointment which will allow me to get out of work early so no snack for me until later. With all the running around today I doubt that I will even care.
Today I tried the orange flavor and man this stuff tastes just like the orange soda I had when I was a kid... SO refreshing! I also opened a tried the cola one and that one so far is my favorite. With such a great cola taste I think that coke zero has nothing on this one!
For dinner I am having yet again another tofu concoction. I am so close to being done with it. I cook my food for for the week and always have enough for Monday-Sunday. Well since I am going home for the weekend and will be having dinner with my sis I am going to eat it all up tonight. No complaints though. I am loving this.
It's another peanut sauce and I am adding in peanuts and some avocado (my other favorite thing in the whole world). I always tell my guy friends that the way to a women's heart is a avocado. Hehehehe, it's true! I am going to more than likely have two portions of this, lighter sauce on the 2nd round. I then will have some green tea and just call it quits for the day.

Pb2 is the perfect thing to mix in with anything that you want to have a peanut buttery taste. I seriously am addicted to the stuff. I eat so much nut butter and almond butter. When my calories are too high for the day and I still want to allow myself some peanut butter goodness I turn to my friend PB2. This stuff is what I used for tonight's dinner. Yum!
SO this week despite my knee and back has been one of the best weeks ever!!! I just got bcak a response from a company that I have had my eye on for a very long time. They are going to be sending me some of thier amazing products to make Acai Bowls. I cant wait to get the supplements to try as well. They have one of the best websites that I have seen for Acai.
Check them out and keep an eye out for my review!

Acai Pulp is one of the best ways to consume acai, because it retains most of the antioxidants and nutrients of the acai berry without changing the taste. After harvested the acai berry must be processed into frozen pulp within 24 hours or less, otherwise it can spoil and loose its nutrients.
The acai pulp is certainly one of the most common ways the fruit is consumed in Brasil for the same reason - distance. One of the biggest consuming centers in Brazil is Rio de Janeiro, which is thousands of miles from the Northern states such as Para, Amazonas, Amapa, etc where the palmtree grows. In Rio you can buy acai smoothies ("vitamina de acai" ou "suco de acai") and bowls ("acai na tijela") all over the city.
Acai Roots developed the most delicious and healthy ready-to-eat acai pulp. Our recipe uses acai pulp, and a little natural cane juice for sweetening and texture. This the most authentic acai pulp you can get in the US, created by Brazilians who were born and raised on acai.
Makes amazing Rio-Style acai bowls
Fresh, delicious and healthy super antioxidant puree
Ready to eat or blend, and boy I cant wait!
Here is a great give-a-way!
