Ola! How are you all this morning? I am just waking up but movin and grovin to some tunes on NPR and getting geared up for a days worth of work! Oh how I love bank holidays. I am so happy to know that I have Monday off and even happier that I completely forgot that I had off until this morning. Surprises like these really make the week go by much faster. I am just keeping my eye on the prize....I have 15 days until moving and that means this weekend I will be pairing down my clothes and packing things that I don't really use all that much. The next weekend will be spend packing even more and getting the "team" together so that I have some freakin help getting my things up the stairs. I am excited but getting a little nervous. I want my own place but I am going to miss being around other people. The good thing though is that I will be in a house with other folks (there are two apartments right below me). I hope that I like the place AND that they don't raise the rent too much in August. The idea is pay rent early, keep the place impeccable and find 10 things wrong with the place so that they will not want to rent it out. We will see. I am not worrying about that right now. Focusing on what is here now is the best thing to do. I cant believe that this month is almost smack in the middle and V-day is just three whole days a way. I am thinking that it will be the most low key day of the week. It is Valentines Day after all. I will be training in the morning and it will be my last session with Andrea. I am going to miss her. I hope more than anything that she will spread the word and get some folks together for another month of training in the near future. In the mean time, moving and finding a part-time fun job is in the front of my mind.

On to my eats people. I am a rambling freak this morning.
Today is walking, walking and more walking. On my active rest days (usually Tuesday and Thursdays) I walk about 6.5 miles. 3 miles (sometimes more) during lunch and then almost 4 with Karen after work. This is great for a rest day because during the hour walk at lunch I speed it up big time with Shelly and then with K it is still a great pace but not as intense. I use it for a decompression sort of after work relaxation thing. I will be sure to get in some yoga today as well. My body needs a good stretch. These intervals with short burst movements work people. I mean it they WORK. If I keep this up (and stop having one more drink and snack than planned) I will be better this week for sure. This is the eats so far for the week pretty much. Get ready...These are some pretty good pics! Egg whites, Alvardo Complete Protein toast, banana and a tiny bit of cashew butter.
Tofu, sweet potato, chic peas, brown rice and later added tons of tahini (Living Tree brand of course).
Always, always end lunch with a piece of chocolate! Nicobella green tea was my piece of choice today, it was divine! Red bell pepper, hummus fuel before leaving work and walking with K. Dinner that never gets old. A "soup" of sorts. I usually go with butternut squash soup with veggies and chicken. This week I went with Tomato low sodium soup with more brown rice, onion and sliced boneless skinless chicken. Doused with curry powder and siracha, naturally.
Rice cake, raisins and pb. Night time snackage at it's best. Hey, this is the "I'm watching the bachelor snack" of choice these days.
That is that. Simple, kinda boring but true post of the week. We are almost there peeps. I am so looking forward to a long weekend and I know that it is going to be a great one. HOPEFULLY we will finally get some good weather. I am wanting Spring more than ever and it is so close, I can feel it.
See you all tomorrow! I loved your e-mails. Now comment on the page!!! hehehehee.
