Have you ever had your alarm clock go off and instead of waking up it becomes a apart of your dream?
This morning at 7:15 a.m. I was dreaming. Dreaming that I was shopping at the mall. In the back ground was my ring tone alarm clock. Remember my rant about my alarm clock sound? (I use my cell phone to wake me these days.) Well, I changed it to "Deep Blue Ring" and it pretty much sounds like elevator music. Well, apparently it is the perfect background music for a shopping mall because that what was playing in my dream as I was wondering around in the store. This cracks me up! I got to work and listened to the ring tone and it totally is "mall music". I never sleep through an alarm and I rarely hit the snooze button. Needless to say, I jumped out of bed like no body's business and got ready in record time. It was 7:25 when I woke and walked in the office at 7:40. Who am I? How do I do this? Even I amaze myself. I guess pulling your hair back in a bun, throwing the clothes on that I already lay out then night before and being a make-up artist once upon a time helps! I am still trying to wake my self up! Anyway, Happy Friday! We made it! YAY! I am so thankful that this week is over. It is a cold rainy day out today and it looks like this weekend will be the same. I hate it when my weekends have dreadful weather. I tell you one thing...it will be a great night for a movie. For sure. I am going to really enjoy staying in. Saturday is a pretty packed day for me so a low key evening will be perfect. I have no idea what I will be watching but I am sure that it will be good.
This morning I tried out a new bread from Alvarado Street Bakery! I got a couple coupons in the mail for a free loaf from this brand. I actually sent back the coupon to the company because I didn't think that any stores here carried it. Silly me! Thankfully, they were kind enough to send it back to me and tell me to just redeem it at my local health food store. Needless to say....off I went to Earth Fare to pick one up! Ingredients: Sprouted Organic Whole Wheat Berries, Filtered Water, Wheat Gluten, Honey, 100% Pure Barley Malt, Organic Millet, Organic Oats, Sea Salt, Fresh Yeast, Soy Based Lecithin, Sprouted Organic Corn, Sprouted Lentils, Sprouted Organic Soy Beans, Cultured Wheat. LOVE that I can read every single ingredient. I love spouted bread. Flourless bread makes me happy! I decided on the "Complete Protein" loaf and of course having the word California in the title didn't hurt ;)
90 Calories and 5 grams of protein in a slice of bread is pretty good if you ask me. This is the power food that I need first thing in the morning to get me going and fuel me through my workout! Here lies breakfast...
Break room breakfast. I did the usual....toast, almond butter and 1/2 a nanner. I am thinking that next week I will be cutting out one of the slices. Is it really necessary to have two slices and then 2 hours later eat another "meal"? I think not. I only eat it because it is yummy! Not that there is anything wrong with that just that I am not really hungry and I don't want to just eat to eat. Ya know?! I LOVED this bread! It was perfect and filled me up for hours! I give this brand (vs Ezekiel, my normal bread of choice) a 9! I really do appreciate the coupons and will be back for more....No doubt. This company does just sell fantastic bread, they have bagels, tortilla's and even granola. Go to their site and check them out!
So after breakfast I am running out in the rain and doing errands, joy. Hopefully my cardio session will fly by today and I will not even notice that I ran 4 miles, yeah right. Believe it or not, it is days like this that I don't mind working out. Yes, when I wake up to a cold raining day, I really don't want to get out of bed. However, once I am up, I am up!
Today's schedule will pretty much look like the rest of my week. I will not bore you with the same photo's. I will be doing my best to get in a 30 minute yoga session before movie night and I am sure that I can pack it all in as long as I get outta here by 5:00. I wish that I could go on a long walk with Karen but when it is raining and my umbrella is half broken, it makes me want to call it a day. Yoga though should energize me and after yesterday's session I am looking forward to it! I trained Miss. Andrea yesterday (good job girl, I know that you are feelin it today) I kicked her butt. I bet you wont cancel a session again on me ;) Just kidding (sorta)! I did about 15 minutes of intervals with her and then a hour and 15 minutes of yoga and Pilate's. I am really getting into this interval yoga sessions that I have created myself.
OK my friends, I gotta run (sorry for the short post) I gots things to do! Hope your Friday is speedy!!!
